Minneapolis doom-death band VOID ROT returned two years after their debut album for this EP, featuring one original track and a cover on 7” vinyl. Released by Italian label Everlasting Spew and engineered by Adam Tucker (engineer for NOTHINGNESS, ULTHAR, MAUL, and many more), the title track “Telluric Dismemberment” is hulking and dissonant, creating an evil atmosphere that compliments their nihilistic and cosmic lyrics. The B-side features a cover of the AMORPHIS track “Black Embrace” off their 1992 debut “The Karelian Isthmus” that injects a new viciousness into a death metal classic.
