GOREPHILIA’s In The Eye Of Nothing is masterfully played, punishing Finnish death metal that owes much to its American forebearers. MORBID ANGEL-style chugging meets an early IMMOLATION-style sinister atmosphere, all wrapped in unusually poetic lyrics about the human mind’s inability to grasp the advance of time, which is no doubt influenced by the tragic death of former GOREPHILIA vocalist Nemesis (Henri Kuula). "In The Eye Of Nothing" – mastered by CRUCIAMENTUM’s Dan Lowndes – is the band’s first effort for Me Saco Un Ojo records and is a necessary addition to any OSDM fan’s collection.
