Offscourings by Oakland, California-based MEFITIS is impossible to pin down, combining elements of thrash, old school death, black metal, and progressive metal. Though the cover features four portraits, MEFITIS is composed of only two members who handle all the instrumentation, making this sophomore full-length all the more impressive. A must-listen for its sheer creativity and addictive potential.
