The Massachusetts-based ADRIENNE plays metalcore reminiscent of turn of the century bands like POISON THE WELL, complete with devastating lyrics about a lost relationship delivered in a pained yelp. This debut self-titled EP from DAZE Records has become a cult classic, though the band has split as of 2024. Their short three-year run has left an impression on the metalcore scene, however, and listening to Adrienne, it’s easy to see why.
