Sludge metal titans GRIEF released their last full-length album, "…And Man Will Become The Hunted", in 2000 (excluding their reunion tour recordings), marking the end of a career which took sludge out of Louisiana and imported it into the Northeast, creating an intensely depressive, suffocating, and misanthropic sound whose influence continues to be felt today.
